Part Two of the KMRP Equation: The Family.

Parents and caregivers play a vital role in a young child’s academic success, yet many may not know how to best support their child. Adults who enroll their children in the KMRP make a conscious decision to spend their time in the classroom, and EMLI is dedicated to making this family time meaningful, enjoyable, and productive. EMLI also recognizes that adults and caregivers enter academic experiences at different points along their own learning continuum.

The KMRP provides information on how the mastery of early mathematical skills can help set the stage for later high-level mathematics courses and STEM related careers. In this manner, families become familiar with how early academics may positively impact their child’s future beyond the classroom.
